However, the drawback is that setting it up requires a bit more effort, as well as appropriate human muscle strength to pull an object. On the other hand, due to its simple design and lack of electrically charged components, a manual winch can also operate underwater. It is highly flexible, so working in difficult conditions will not be a problem. However, it is important to consider that functioning with it requires a significant amount of strength. Therefore, manual winches may be better suited for occasional tasks, unless there are additional people to assist while working with the device.

An electric winch, in comparison to a manual winch, uses a motor and battery to operate. This means it does not require human muscle power, as it is driven by the unit.
